The presumptive Democrat nominee is said to be introducing the rap star in an attempt to connect with voters.
Obama
recently spoke about using hip hop to bond with his electorate on US TV show 'What's In It For Us'. He said: "I've
met with Kanye [West]. And I've talked to other artists about how potentially to bridge that gap.
"I
think the potential for them to deliver a message of extraordinary power that gets people thinking [is massive]."
Kanye West will headline the festival alongside
Radiohead and Rage Against The Machine when it takes place at Grant Park,
