David Bowie To Headline T In The Park?

Rumours suggest Ziggy Stardust is set for 2009

Early rumours suggest that David Bowie will be approached to play next year's T In The Park.

Just days after R.E.M. brought the 2008 edition to close, reports suggest that the 61-year old star is in line to take on of the top slots next July.

The Ziggy Stardust man was due to headline Scotland's biggest festival in 2004, only to be replace by The Darkness after he pulled out due to a shoulder injury.

Speaking about David Bowie, Geoff Ellis said: "It feels like we've unfinished business."

T In The Park 2009 will take place at Balado Airfield, Kinross-shire from 12-14 July 2009 with early bird tickets already sold out.
