T In The Park boss speaks out about stabbing
But there have been no other serious crimes

Speaking to NME.com, Ellis said: "We're despondent about it. Does it cast a cloud over the festival? Well,
as serious as it is, it is an isolated incident, and we've had a really well-behaved festival here so far.
"Unfortunately,
we're seeing things like this in society today, it seems to be on the rise in general. The security here is really robust
– we've got a big fence around the site, for example, but it'd be foolish to say that it's impossible to
get illegal things [such as knives] into the site."
As previously reported, a man suffered multiple stab
wounds at the Scottish festival (voted Best Major Festival in the 2005 and 2006 UK Festival Awards) in the early hours of
this morning, and is currently in hospital in Dundee.
Police are looking for two suspects, although no arrests
have been made in relation to the incident so far.
Meanwhile, seven people have been taken into custody by police
so far at T In The Park for crimes unrelated to the stabbing, with festival organisers stating that none were for serious
crimes.
T in the Park continues today with R.E.M., Primal Scream and Amy Winehouse appearing tonight.
