The Sheffield band was scheduled to perform at both festivals this weekend, but have had to pull out after their frontman
Jon Windle was assaulted in Brighton and left with a fractured jaw.
A message on their official
website reads: "The band were set to play Oxegen on Saturday and T In The Park on Sunday, but an X-Ray has resulted
in the frontman needing multiple stitches and a metal plate inserted into his mouth.
"A spokesman for the
band said: "The guys were out on Wednesday night celebrating with their new label Skint, when Jon was attacked by a group
of thugs outside a club who were obviously looking for trouble. They badly cut up one of his eyes and fractured his jaw, so
it wont be possible for the band to play either festival. They are really gutted.
"Little Man Tate are still expected to perform at this year’s V Festival in August."
