Both bands will perform in the Obelisk Arena alongside the likes of Death Cab For Cutie, Elbow,
The Breeders and Grinderman.
Patrick Watson, Captain and The Beautiful
South's lead singer Paul Heaton have also been confirmed
for the boutique bash, with slots in the Uncut Arena. Micah P Hinson,
Those Dancing Days and Glastonbury new band highlight
Noah and the Whale are also set to perform on
the stage as well.
London's rising reggae-soul star Natty
and ex-Arab Strap man Malcolm Middleton will appear
in the Sunrise Arena over the weekend joined by Punch Brothers,
The Shortwave Set, Gary Go, SoKo, The Little Ones and Yacht,
who have also been announced today.
Latitude Festival 2008 which takes place at Henham
Park, Southwold, Suffolk from 17-20 July will be headlined by Franz Ferdinand,
Sigur Ros and Interpol with The Go! Team, British Sea Power,
The Aliens and more set to perform as well.
The music and arts festival will also have an eclectic
selection of poetry, comedy and literature as well as a diverse programme of arts. For the full line-up click HERE.
