Moby to headline SOLD OUT Glastonbury!
United Kingdom | |
28 March 2003
Moby last performed at Glastonbury on the
second stage in 2000. The Glastonbury show will be the first date he has played in the UK since his sold out tour in November
last year.
112,500 tickets for Glastonbury 2003 had sold out by the end of the first
day of release, in record time. Last year, it took 8 weeks to sell out. Unscrupulous touts have been selling second hand tickets
on Ebay for up to £500 each!
Michael Eavis has revealed that eBay and the main ticket companies
are working together to prevent people re-selling tickets above face value. Tickets will not be sent out until the last
minute before the Festival, so there will not be sufficient time to re-sell.
To beat the touts, we have added a
special area on the Official Festival Message Board, where people keeping in the spirit of the festival can
buy and sell second hand tickets at FACE VALUE.
