The Maccabees set for Offset Festival

Tom McRae joins Redbridge bash too

The Maccabees have been confirmed for this year's Offset Festival, which takes place at Hainault Forest Country Park, Redbridge, near London.

The Brighton band will appear will join previously announced bill toppers WIRE and Young Knives on the main stage with one more headliner to be added.

Today's other addition is Tom McRae who perform in the Colin Tent alongside the likes of Glam Chops, Dive Dive, Jake Shillingford and The Loves.

The festival is set to take place on from 30-31 August with two main stages hosting a select choice of artists playing indie. Rock, artrock and electro with five smaller ones full of cutting-edge live acts and emerging DJs.

There will also be a full funfair, organic food, trader's village, art and a dedicated children's area.

Instead of a meticulous monitor of album sales, Offset Festival chooses line-ups based on quality, irrelevant of hype or chart position.
