The Offspring and Lost Prophets as well as Incubus, Judas Priest,

Valient Thorr will still perform on the third stage on the Sunday despite
their lead singer, Valient Himself, undergoing surgery to donate a kidney to his father.
Speaking
about the band's upcoming appearance Himself said: "If I can go from a hospital bed to playing in
front of a crowd of 75,000 at the UK's Download Festival in just four weeks, people out there might consider becoming
organ donors as well."
The festival will also feature some of the best FMX, BMX and skate talent courtesy
of Monster Energy. The new Monster Battlefield will include Ball Of Steel, a set daredevil stunts from motorbike riders and
the Monster Army Camp, which will have DJs spinning tunes until the early hours.
The festival site will have a
new layout this year with increased shading from trees and benches providing seating in the arena. There will also be market
stalls, a fairground, a 5-a-side football pitch and even a hair salon.
Download Festival 2008 will take place at Donington Park, Castle
Donington from 13-15 June. Tickets are still available, priced £130 for the weekend
(£150 with camping) or £60-£65 for a day ticket depending on what day.
