Organisers have just announced that this year's Fancy Dress theme at the Isle Of Wight bash will be '30,000 Freaks Under The Sea'.
It will be the third year fans have been given dressing up directives, following on from Cowboys & Indians and Pirates at previous events but, as ever, Bestival-goers will be expected to show some poetic license.
One of the Virtual Festivals team has already announced he'll be going as Pac-man with his own posse of ghosts and others fans are expected to be just as creative.
Bestival head-honcho Rob da Bank said: "We wracked our collective brains ‘til they turned to custard and eventually came up with '30,000 Freaks Under The Sea' - essentially another open-ended theme open to abuse and many different angles which we hope you'll follow!
"This year we'll do a night parade as well as daytime one, so make sure you light up bright - calling all pesky squids, little urchins, deep sea divers and Yellow Submarines!"
Bestival takes place at Robin Hill Park, Isle Of Wight, from 5-7 September, featuring headliners My Bloody Valentine, Amy Winehouse and Underworld and loads more. Full line up HERE.
Winner
of Best Medium Festival in the UK Festival Awards for three years running, Bestival
has already sold out.
