Man found dead in tent at Gatecrasher festival

Thames Valley Police said a middle-aged man, thought to be from Northampton, died on the festival site on Saturday night.

A police spokesman said: "The circumstances surrounding his death are under investigation.

"While we are not at this stage linking this to the misuse of drugs, intelligence sources, police and security operations have identified and arrested a number of drug dealer within the event.

"It is apparent that thieves are operating on the site, targeting campsites, car parks and other areas."

At time of writing the man had not been formally identified.
