Yeasayer, Kids In Glass Houses, Powderfinger, Gun, Tom Baxter, Alphabeat, Bryn Christopher and In Case Of Fire have also been added to the bill.
But Sugababes have been forced to pull out of the sold out event, which takes place at Balado, Kinross in Perthshire, from 11-13 July.
Festival Director Geoff Ellis said: “We are obviously disappointed that the Sugababes have had to pull out of this year’s T in the Park, but from time to time, it does happen that artist schedules conflict and we are sure that if the girls could be here, they would."
Recently reformed Glasgow rockers Gun are set to return to T's hallowed main stage, while Aussie rockers Powderfinger will join Sunday’s Radio 1/NME Stage.
King Tut’s Tent will once again be open on Friday night and will play host to The Futureheads, Kids In Glass Houses, Alphabeat and Los Campesinos.
Also appearing in the tent are In Case of Fire, who will play on the Saturday, and Vampire Weekend, who are booked for the Sunday.
Tom Baxter and The Hold Steady have been added to the Pet Sounds Arena’s line-up on the Saturday and Brooklyn based Yeasayer will play Sunday’s Future Stage.
Retro-soul singer Bryn Christopher, described by some as the new Otis Reading, will play Saturday’s Future Stage.
T In The Park 2008 is headlined by Rage Against The
Machine, The Verve and R.E.M. Full line up HERE.
