Bestival sells out in record time

30,000 eager fans have snapped up all of the event's tickets, some six months in advance of the fesival.

My Bloody Valentine, Amy Winehouse and Underworld are set to headline the boutique festival when it heads to Robin Hill Country Park, Newport on the Isle of Wight from 5-7 September.

Bestival curator Rob Da Bank said: "We sold out 30,000 tickets in record time which is ace 'cos now I can go outside and enjoy the sunshine!"

Other acts appearing at the festival include Hot Chip, The Sugarhill Gang, Lee Scratch Perry, The Human League and Chas and Dave. To see the full line-up click HERE.
