Glastonbury line-up out 1 May
United Kingdom | |
09 April 2008
Organisers of the world's biggest music and arts festival are set to confirm who will be joining headliners Kings Of Leon, Jay-Z
and The Verve earlier than planned.
No names are
usually released until the first week of June, but the likes of Hot Chip, Schlomo, Massive
Attack and Kate Nash have already been announced or self-confirmed.
Talking to BBC
6Music about the scheduled announcement, co-organiser Emily Eavis said: "This year, because
of the hype and speculation about the line-up, in lots of ways it would be kind of easier to get it out there sooner."
Until the line-up is released in May you can keep up to date with the rumours and confirmations for this year's
festival by clicking HERE.
Registration re-opened yesterday for those wishing to go to Glastonbury who had missed the original deadline and it

Tickets are priced at £155 plus booking and festival-goers will need to submit
basic personal details and a photo as part of the registration process to protect tickets being bought and sold by touts.
Glastonbury Festival 2008 takes place on Worthy Farm, Pilton, Somerset from 27-29
June.
