Glastonbury tickets go on-sale

And are still on-sale 8 hours later!

Glastonbury tickets go on-sale

04 April 2008

So is it down to Jay-Z being booked to headline, three consecutive years of mud or people getting fed up with the long-winded registration process? These are among the more popular theories circulating on the MyFests message boards currently. The intriguing debate as to why Glastonbury has sold so much more slowly this year will undoubtedly be analysed at tedious length by the media over the next few weeks.

For the time being, however, tickets are still on-sale (5.30pm, 6th April). It's almost certain that they WILL sell out at some point, so if you would like to be there, we advise that you snap up your tickets while they are still available.

Only those who have registered the anti-touting registration system are able to purchase tickets for this year’s event.

Tickets are available online from Seetickets.com or alternatively over the phone on 0800 079 2008.

Please note - we have been told that some users were accidentally sent an incorrect phone number in their registration confirmation email. Please make sure you use the number above, not the one in the email.

Registrants are able to buy up to four tickets, but they must have the surnames and the unique registration numbers of the people they are buying tickets for.

Weekend tickets for the festival cost £155 each including £5 booking fee and £4 post and packaging. For full details on how to get tickets for this year’s event click HERE.

Glastonbury Festival 2008 takes place at Worthy Farm, Pilton, Somerset with Kings Of Leon, Jay-Z and The Verve headlining, plus loads more already either self confirmed or hotly rumoured.

The full official line-up will be out in June but click HERE to see how it's shaping up so far.
