Reading and Leeds tickets selling out fast

Revellers hoping to see the likes of Metallica, Rage Against The Machine and The Killers at the August event snatched up all the wekend tickets up for the three-day festivals in just two hours.

The Reading and Leeds Festivals take place at Little Johns Farm, Reading, and Bramham Park, Leeds, from 22-24 August.

Melvin Benn, Managing Director of Festival Republic said, "I am over the moon! Absolutely thrilled. […] Whoever is talking about a slump in festival popularity is talking rubbish. Long live Reading and Leeds!"

Other acts playing over the bank holiday weekend include Dizzee Rascal, Slipknot, The Enemy, Babyshambles, Vampire Weekend, MGMT, The Cribs, Avenged Sevenfold and Anti Flag.
