Final headliner announced for Larmer Tree Festival

One of Africa's top bands, Orchestra Baobab, has been confirmed as the final headliner for Larmer Tree Festival.

The collective will top the bill on Friday night, joining other headliners Jools Holland, The Levellers, Seth Lakeman and Tinariwen.

Larmer Tree Festival 2008 takes place at Larmer Tree Gardens, Tollard Royal, near Salisbury, from Wednesday 16 to Sunday 20 July.

Other acts just confirmed include Romanian gypsy band Taraf de Haidouks, ‘The King of Kwassa Kwassa’ Kanda Bongo Man, Aussie singer-songwriter Jeff Lang, 'chap rock' purveyors The Don Bradmans, Bengal's very own The Royal Rarhi Chhou Dancers, plus local acts Mary Spender and The Glowglobes.
