Kasabian to headline Creamfields 2008
United Kingdom | |
07 March 2008
The Leicester quartet’s appearance will be their only English festival date of 2008 and it will mark a change in direction for the event, which is traditionally a dance-orientated affair.
Singer Tom Meighan said:
"We've played most the other festivals in recent years and we wanted to do something different. It's dangerous
ground for us but I quite like that."
Creamfields also celebrates its tenth birthday
this year and to mark the anniversary organisers have added an extra day and made camping available for the first time.
The festival will now take place on Saturday and Sunday 23-24 August at Daresbury, Cheshire. More acts will be announced on Virtual Festivals at 8pm tonight so stay posted.
Tickets are on sale HERE, priced £115 for both days with camping or £105 without.
