03 March 2008
Alabama 3, Sonic Boom Six, Tim Sheridan, Glaswegian, The Ads, Action Group, Jesus H. Foxx, Twisted Nerve and The Eddies are the latest acts confirmed for the three-day festival.
It all takes place over 120 acres of farmland near Dundrennan, South West Scotland, on Friday and Saturday 25-26 July.
A true grass roots festival winner of that category in last year's UK Festival Awards, this year will also feature performances by Dub Pistols featuring Terry Hall, Hugh Cornwell, The Cuban Brothers, Sham 69, Damien Dempsey, Red Hot Chilli Pipers, De Rosa, Fangs, Zoey Van Goey, Broken Records, Beatnic Prestige and Neville Staple.
Two headliners are still set to be confirmed for the festival, which features a wide ranging program from a reggae tent to an acoustic tent and a drumming workshop to mountain bike skills classes, plus loads more including a huge Wickerman burning on the Sunday night.
Organisers have also announced that couples can get hitched this year at a new marrying stone. For more info contact Sid Ambrose - sidpagan@btinternet.com.
