Beirut to headline Green Man Festival

Plus The National, Black Mountain and more

Beirut has been announced as the Friday night headliner for Green Man Festival 2008.

Green Man Festival takes place at Glanusk Park, Brecon Beacons, Wales, from 15-17 August.

Other acts just confirmed are Black Mountain, The National, Nina Nastasia, Richard Thompson, Howlin' Rain and School Of Language.

They join Super Furry Animals who will headline Saturday's bill with organisers promising a very special guest headliner on the Sunday night.

Tickets for the sixth Green Man Festival are now on sale priced £105 for the weekend.

On-site camping and parking is included and entry is free for Under 12s. There will be an additional cost for those wishing to bring a live-in vehicle.
