Wychwood announce final headliner

The Divine Comedy have been announced as Saturday's headliner for Wychwood Festival 2008, which takes place at Cheltenham Racecourse from 30 May until 1 June.

Neil Hannon and co join previously confirmed headliners The Proclaimers, who will play the main stage on the Friday, and folk collective The Imagined Village who will close the festival on the Sunday night.

Organisers have also announced that Air Cav, The Loungs and The Travelling Band will perform at the Gloucestershire festival on The Doghouse stage.

Other acts confirmed today include poet John Hedgley, The Young Republic, Karen David, Desperately Not Yoko and Marcus Bonfanti and the Bad Boys.

Todays announcements join a bill that already includes Dreadzone, Robyn Hitchcock, Duffy, School Of Language and The Blockheads with Phill Jupitus.
