Organisers have also announced a special night of entertainment for campers on the Thursday night, which will include cover bands Bjorn Again and Suspiciously Elvis.

The other new acts are The Duke Spirit, Curved Air, Ida Maria, Laura Critchley, The Eyes, Sondura, Wills and the Willing, Paul Newsome, Florence K, Dave Stewart and Stone Gods.

It's the first time the festival will have a second stage. The line up for the circus-style Big Top arena now reads like this:

They join previously confirmed main stage headliners Kaiser Chiefs, Sex Pistols and The Police, plus Lily Allen, The Enemy, Kate Nash, Iggy And The Stooges, The Zutons, KT Tunstall, Ian Brown, The Kooks, N.E.R.D, James, The Hoosiers and Scouting For Girls.

The sold out Isle Of Wight Festival takes place at Seaclose Park, Newport, from 11-15 June.
