EXCLUSIVE! The Streets to headline Homelands 2003

The Streets will play the UK's biggest and best dance festival when it returns on May 24th of this year. The full line-up will be announced this Friday (February 28) naturally, VF isn't waiting 'til then!

A launch party will take place in central London this week. Virtual Festivals will be there, propping up the bar, to give you the full low-down and all the info as it is announced. To whet your appetite though, we can exclusively reveal a few details now.

Headliners this year are strongly rumoured to include Missy Elliot, The Streets and Royksopp on the live stage, which will be one of a reduced seven arenas, finishing at midnight. The remaining six tents will continue through to the regular 6am finsihing time. The will again take place at the Winchester Bowl, on Saturday 24th May.

The Homelands Festival continues to shine as one of the most colourful and popular dance music events on the UK festival calendar, having survived through police and government pressure (last year's fracas with So Solid Crew), the foot and mouth epidemic, the bankruptcy of co-promoters Home and a lot of mud in 2000!
