Fatboy Slim confirms Glastonbury spot

Fatboy Slim has revealed he'll be playing a set at Glastonbury Festival on the Friday night - and there could be more over
The DJ, real name Norman Cook, let slip while talking to reporters at the launch for the O2 Wireless
Festival, where he was unveiled as the Saturday night headliner.
When asked about Glastonbury he said:
“Oh yeah, i’m doing it again this year in some guise. I think I’m actually official this year, last I wasn’t
actually on the bill, but I still managed to play three times.
“This year I think I’m officially
on the bill on Friday night, but I think I’ve played Glastonbury eleven years running now.”

He said yesterday: “They’re just like, ‘You’re part of the furniture. Even
if you’re not on the bill, just come down and we’ll find a spot for you, whether it’s Africa Express or

during last year's Africa Express show on the Park Stage and last performed in an official guise in 2005 when he headlined
the Other Stage.
