The Chemical Brothers for Gatecrasher

CSS will warm up for bill toppers The Prodigy on the Saturday, while The Chemical Brothers will be preceded by Dizzee Rascal on the Sunday night.  

The two-day dance festival in Northamptonshire will also feature live sets from Soulwax Nite Versions, Simian Mobile Disco, Audio Bullys, New Young Pony Club, The Whip and Digitalism.

Returning from a six-year hiatus as a full camping festival, Gatecrasher Summer Sound System will take place at Turweston Aerodrome, Northamptonshire, over the weekend of 24-25 May.

With a bank holiday Monday following, fans will be able to let loose to DJ sets by Paul Van Dyk, Pete Tong, Tiga, Axwell and Ingrosso, Bloc Party, Roni Size, DJ Yoda, DJ Marky and Zane Lowe, with many more to be confirmed.

More than 60,000 people are expected to attend with room for 20,000 campers. There will be 20 live bands and around 200 DJs playing over 20 music arenas. Phew!

Hosts will include Ed Banger, Hed Kandi, FantaziaDirty Disco, One Nation and Guilty Pleasures, while Tiga and Zane Lowe and also curate their own stages. 

Music aside, Summer Sound System will feature boutique camping, a 24-hour market place with gourmet food stalls and out of town shopping plus an onsite diary room, supersonic fairground, Ibiza angels and karaoke.

Early bird tickets are on sale from Friday, 25 January, for £105 (inclusive of camping). The usual price is £115 and day tickets will cost £59.50. There are also VIP options. Click HERE for more.
