Foo Fighters announce another stadium show

Dave Grohl and his band have announced they will be playing the northern city after already selling out two massive shows at Wembley Stadium on 6-7 June 2008.

The ‘Echoes, Silence, Patience and Grace’ quartet will be playing at the 57,000 capacity stadium which is usually the home of Premiership football club Manchester City.

The gig dates leave open a slot at the Download festival (13-15 June) where the band are rumoured to be headlining.

Tickets for the event will go sale Friday (14 December) at 10am.
