Vote for your Best Major Festival NOW!

05 October 2007

We thought we'd hold something back until Friday to give you something to mull over as you count down to the weekend - we're good like that...

So, today sees the launch of four more awards all itching for your votes. Remember, even if you've already voted in certain categories you can still go back in and vote for others.

Best Major Festival looks set to be one of the fiercest fought categories. The giants Glastonbury, Reading, Leeds, T In The Park and V Festival are all likely favourites. Then again Isle of Wight Festival, Creamfields, Global Gathering and Download all had fantastic years and their fans are likely to make that count.

Remember, all awards are weighted on their capacity so they all stand a great chance of winning. Vote now HERE and you could win tickets for every award winning festival when they return in 2008.

We also need you to tell us who was the Best Headliner this year. So many incredible sets to choose from - The Smashing Pumpkins, Arctic Monkeys and Daft Punk feature high on our list - but it's down to you, so get voting.

Another artist category unveiled today is Best Newcomer. That Kate Nash, DJ bashers The Enemy, scally rockers Pigeon Detectives and many more are in the running. Of course they don't feel all that new any more do they? Ahh, how time flies when you're rolling around in mud.

Finally, to complete this year's UK Festival Awards we want to know your Most Memorable Moment. There are bound to be thousands, but sadly we our team of journalists don't have crystal balls, only eyes and ears, so we've had to pick out our top 10 and hope you can agree on at least one. Take a look and if any catch your eye, vote - if not tell the festival world about your own favourite moment by commenting below...

Vote in the UK Festival Awards HERE. All categories are now open for voting.
