Radiohead Announce Festival Dates!

04 February 2003
Radiohead have announced they will be touring in June, and will headline the Southside Festival
and Hurricane Festival in Germany on June 20 and 22 respectively. These festivals are the German equivalent
of the UK's Reading and Leeds events, and take place simultaneously with the line-up rotating each day. Radiohead willl also play Sweden's excellent Hultsfred
Festival on June 13.
Radiohead's headline slot at Glastonbury, although not confirmed, looks increasingly likely, with a convenient gap in their festival schedule during the event which will run over the weekend of June 27-29.
The group are
said to be currently mixing their forthcoming album, with the working titles '2+2=5' and 'Are You Listening?', and a tentative
release date of June 16. As we previously reported, the band have been strongly rumoured to be showcasing the release with
a high profile headline slot at the festival, which they will always be remembered for headlining in 1997 (as part of the
OK Computer World Tour). Organiser Michael Eavis has been publically expressing his love for the band and desire to have them
back ever since!
