Nokia are offering FREE* festival guides straight to your mobile so that you can keep tabs on the latest happenings during The Carling Weekend: Reading & Leeds Festivals.

The handy mobile application includes line-up details, site maps, news and a special scheduler that will make your festival experience at the Carling Weekend: Reading or Leeds Festivals all the easier.

For instance, you've just got onsite with your paper programme when one of your mates in his excitable festival mood knocks it right out of your hand into the mud. The pages are filthy, the band write ups are smudged and the site map soaked. What are you going to do?

Don't fret that's for sure, because if you've registered on the Nokia Rock Up & Play website (here) you'll have all that information at the touch of a button. Or you could have simply text "Reading" or "Leeds" to 84000.

On the train up you'll have used the Personal Planner to select the bands you want to see and built your own schedule, so you won't miss Maximo Park or forget to see Fall Out Boy.

Later on at the festival, the mate who knocked your programme out of your hand and still owes you a beer has craftily crept off to watch Reverend And The Makers. Go straight to your pocket and get the Festival Map up on your mobile, then use the zoom and scroll features to locate the cheeky swine so he can cough up for that pint.

Larger in hand, you head over to watch Razorlight because your girlfriend really wants to see them (even though you want to see Albert Hammond Jr). Then, in a stroke of luck, your Band And Stage Alerts tell you that Razorlight have been held up, with rumours suggesting Johnny Borrell has spilt Ribena on his white trousers and refuses to take the stage until he gets a clean pair.

The up-to-the-minute alerts will also tell you if there are any band changes in case Cajun Dance Party can't get onsite or Silversun Pickups are stuck at the airport.
