Acoustic Festival Of Britain cancelled

The Acoustic Festival Of Britain is the latest outdoor event to be cancelled due to this rather rubbish weather we're having.

The event was supposed to take place in Nantwich on 28-29 July but organisers have been forced to cancel.

A statement read: "Despite spending the last 10 days putting extra tracking around the site and re-organising the lay out, we still could not guarantee the welfare and safety of everyone attending."

Artists who were supposed to play included Jethro Tull, Midge Ure, Jah Wobble, Dead Men Walking and The Animals.

Full refunds will be given to ticket holders.
