Slade, who drummed for the Aussie rockers between 1989 and 1994, will team up with Exploders frontman Dirty Von Donovan for the one-off show.
The pair will perform three classic AC/DC tracks, 'Back In Black', 'Highway To Hell' and 'Whole Lotta Rosie'.
A spokesman for Bloodstock said: "The performance is guaranteed to be legendry as two of metal's finest artists collaborate to kick off the three day festival in unique style.
"Dirty Von Donovan seemed an obvious choice to sing the hard rock anthems of one of the world's most talked about metal bands.
"He's ensured fans, “you will not be disappointed!“
Other bands confirmed for Bloodstock include Nevermore, Lacuna Coil, Arch Enemy, In Flames and Beyond All Reason.
