The soul sensation will play her only scheduled Glastonbury set at around 8pm on Friday evening (22 June), as part of a bill brought to you by Virtual Festivals and the charity Shelter.
A massive fan of the world famous weekender, the Devon-born diva specifically requested the slot during a telephone call with festival boss Michael Eavis.
She played twice during the 2004 festival, on the Pyramid Stage and on the Jazz World, but was absent from last Friday's lineup announcement. See it HERE.
Fortunately though, she’ll be performing at Pilton for us, alongside CUD, Ned’s Atomic Dustbin, Back To The Planet, Slovo and Republic Of Loose.
Acts playing earlier in the day include The Hours, Fionn Regan, Kid Harpoon and Remi Nicole, before Jack Penate, Duke Special and Glen Tilbrook perform some late night acoustic sessions.
Virtual Festivals has a four-year tradition hosting the Friday night of the 4000-capacity Left Field stage, which campaigns for a number of causes including workers right, social justice and fair trade.
This time we've partnered up with the homeless charity Shelter. Look out for full details of our plans for the Left Field nearer to Glastonbury - including how you can get involved.
