Roskilde Festival 2003 - tickets on sale now

With Iron Maiden one of the early tipped bands (probably for Friday night), Roskilde promises to be the usual hot ticket amongst European Festivals in 2003. Tickets go on sale today (2nd December).

Roskilde Festival is Europe's competitor against Glastonbury for the festival headlines at the end of June every year. As Glastonbury organisers hold their breath for a favourable license hearing, Roskilde is already getting ticket sales started, and artist rumours have Iron Maiden hotly tipped for a headline slot on the Friday night.

Anyone wanting to take an extended break in Denmark can pay a few quid extra for a camping ticket that will let them select a prime pitch as early as Sunday 22nd June. Whilst the bands don't start until the Friday this week under canvas is just right to get you in the festival mood well in advance.
