Lounge On The Farm in Kent
with Alabama 3, Circulus, Noisettes and more
03 May 2007
Friday sees the likes of The Noisettes, Kitty Daisy and Lewis, Foreign Beggars, Example, Lord Large, Ripchord and Underground Heroes taking to the main stage.
While on Saturday, The Wombats and Billy Childish & The Musicians Of The British Empire line up with Justin Roberston and Circulus.
The festival is yet to reveal its headliners but it has confirmed that James Endeacott's label 1965 Records will be hosting an arena. Could his latest find The View be one of the bill toppers?
Other acts already confirmed for the festival include Los Del Abajo, Andy Smith, The Moths, The Draytones, DR Rubberfunk, Sportsday Megaphone, Motion Pictures, The Metros and Sonny Jim, plus loads of unsigned talent from across Kent.
Perhaps the best thing, though, is the price - weekend tickets cost just £45. The festival is fiercely independent and promises to "wave a nonchalant festival flick of the hair at indentikit corporate events."
And there's nothing amateur about it. Lounge On The Farm features a solar powered cinema, kids area, secure camping, 24-hour teepee, creche and even its own cider.
