The Rakes and more for Great Escape

The Great Escape Festival takes place in various venues in Brighton from 18-20 May.

Artists just confirmed include Adele, Bonde De Roll, My Device, Elvis Perkins, Cocoon, Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip, Does It Offend You, Yeah?, Get Well Soon, Hilltop Hoods, Laura Marling and Kid Harpoon.

Magenta Skycode, Nude Girls, Peggy Sue And The Pirates, The Kissaway Trail, The Scare, The Sigma, The Young Soul Rebels, Xerox Teens and Youth Movie Soundtrack Strategies will also perform on the south coast.

They join a long list of acts already confirmed, such as Mumm-Ra, CSS, Willy Mason and Art Brut Click HERE for the full lineup and more event info.

Many more bands will be announced in the coming weeks, as well as details of some of the music celebs who will be involved in seminars and workshops over the three days.

The Great Escape acts as an industry showcase event for 'export ready' bands and artists, as well as treating new music fans to a taste of what's to come at the summer's festivals.
