The Magic Numbers look set to headline one of three days at the festival, which will be held in De Montford Hall and Gardens from 10-12 August.
Other acts just confirmed include The Duke Spirit, Kitty, Daisy and Lewis, Gruff Rhys, Tiny Dancers and The Whip.
CUD, Broken Family Band, Ben Taylor, Richmond Fontaine, Soweto Kinch and Findlay Brown will also appear.
Organiser Richard Haswell said: "We've come a long way in six years and we intend to keep developing Summer Sundae Weekender to give the bands and audience even more of what they want. Members of the public and critics alike have praised the laid back, friendly atmosphere that we have managed to create with an eclectic programme of artists."
