ATP vs The Fans: The Battle Heats Up!

It's a close fought tussle between the organisers of All Tommorows Parties and 'The Fans' as to who's bagging the best bands. ATP have just weighed in with Patti Smith to the lineup, while 'The Fans' have countered with Mogwai and more...

ATP vs The Fans takes place Butlins in Minehead, Somerset, from 18-20 May.

As the name suggests, it's the first ever festival to invite fans to help choose the bands that play over the weekend.

The organisers at All Tomorrow's Parties are selecting half the lineup and have recently added Patti Smith, Grizzly Bear, Edan, Dagha, Ghost, Alexander Tucker, Capricorns, Tall Firs and Current 93 to their list.

But for our money, the discerning ATP fans are leading the way, by successfully suggesting Mogwai, Apples In Stereo, Exposions In The Sky, Battles, Les Savy Fav and Yo La Tengo.

Other acts on show over the weekend include Modest Mouse, Echo & The Bunnymen, Sparklehorse, Brightblack Morninglight and Micah P Hinson. Full lineup HERE.
