So says Emily Eavis: "We've got one of our headliners for 2008 already. I can't say much, but they're one of the great British bands."
Back to matters at hand, she adds: "This year's bill is shaping up really well. We've been away for two years so there's some catching up to do. It's representative of all the great music out there. There's always a band you book for the fourth or fifth slot who, by the time the festival comes around, are big enough to headline. We're got at least two British bands who fit that bill."
Emily has also revealed that the festival is planning to harness its own natural water supply for this year's event, in a bid to become more eco-friendly. A 75 metre bore hole has been dug at the Worthy Farm site in the hope that an artesian well can be discovered.
"It's quite a large mission", Emily admits, "but if we find the water, we'll potentially be able to supply one million gallons per day, which is what we need for the whole site."
Glastonbury Festival will take place at Worthy Farm, Pilton, Somerset from Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th June (with the gates opening on the Wednesday).
The new ticket registration facility opened today, and runs until 28 February. You will need to register first if you wish to buy a ticket this year. Click here for details.
