Arctic Monkeys confirm festival dates

The Sheffield four-piece have officially announced a busy schedule for 2007, confirming plans to appear at a string of major outdoor festivals, including one of their very own.

As we previously revealed, the Sheffield four-piece will be appearing at Coachella Music And Arts Festival in California on 27 April alongside Rage Against The Machine and Red Hot Chili Peppers. The band have also been booked for Germany's big Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park festivals on 1 and 2 June.

Here in the UK, the band have now confirmed that they will headline Glastonbury's Pyramid Stage on the Saturday (23 June) in addition to staging their own mini-festivals at Lancashire Cricket Club in Manchester on July 28 and 29.
