Win a chance to see The Foo Fighters in LA!

| 17 October 2002

A hefty prize for a real fan we think you'll agree. There's one catch... fans have to turn up at Virgin Megastore, Oxford Street, London, at 9am on Monday October 21st armed with a special voucher from next Wednesday's Kerrang! magazine (out 16th Oct), and their bags packed ready to fly straight out to the US!

The first 500 fans to turn up with the Kerrang! Voucher, valid passports and their bags packed, will be entered into the draw to win the chance to meet their idols... so book the day off work and head down to the Megastore.

The lucky winning fan and a friend won't need to learn to fly [whince -Ed] for this whirlwind prize as they'll be flown to LA on Monday 21st October, where they'll be put up in a plush hotel (for 2 nights), before meeting the band the next day and then watching them live at a secret gig on their home US soil, before flying back on Wednesday 23rd.  Under 18's must be accompanied by a responsible adult aged 18 or over.

And if you don't grab the main prize, 3 lucky runners-up will win:

  • A Framed Foo Fighters Public Announcement poster
  • 1 Pair of tickets to see the Foo's live at Wembley Arena in November
  • A gold Foo Fighters presentation disc

And while you're there, be sure to buy your copy of the Foo Fighters brand new album, 'One By One' on its day of release.  Featuring the single, 'All My Life', the fourth studio album, from Dave Grohl looks set to be their biggest yet.  If you don't win this time and didn't manage to catch them at their Carling Weekend shows this Summer, you can catch 'em on their UK tour in November.

To be in with a chance of winning this fantastic prize, head down to Virgin Megastore, Oxford Street at 9am on Monday 21st October, for your chance to meet the mighty Foo Fighters in LA.  But don't forget your toothbrush!
