Guinean star Ba Cissoko, nominated Best Newcomer at last year's World Music Awards, will be treating the Wychwood audience to his expert kora playing on the the Sunday. Ethereal Swedish singer/songwriter Tobias Froberg has also been confirmed for the Wychwood bill.
Festival Director Graeme Merifield said: "We are really delighted to add this rising star to our line-up and can?t wait to see Ba Cissoko light up the Main Stage."
Organisers have also announced the return of Loose Ends to the 2007 festival. Loose Ends, the long running Radio 4 show that mixes interviews, comedy and music, will be recorded in front of a live audience on the Saturday morning, and then broadcast on the same evening. Guests will include performers from the festival.
Liimited 'early bird' tickets are available priced £95 for adult weekend and £75 concession (12-18, unwaged, disabled, NUS). There is also a VIP package available.
