No K's for Glasto 2007
In an interview
with alternative digital radio station BBC 6 Music on Sunday (17th December), Emily Eavis (pictured) poured
cold water on the rumours that Kylie Minogue or The Killers would be appearing at next year's Glastonbury
Festival.
The daughter of festival founder Michael Eavis said that the general level of anticipation for the line-up, among the inner circle of Glastonbury's organisation, is greater than ever before.
Emily had previously teased Virtual Festivals with the information that all three Pyramid Stage Headliners have been confirmed and that one is an American super-group, the other two are British and two of the three have never performed at the festival before.
Elsewhere,
Muse frontman Matt Bellamy recently stated that he is intent on headlining the festival in 2007. The band - who scooped
Best Headliner and Best Rock Act at the 2006 UK Festival Awards and famously headlined Glastonbury in 2004 - are scheduled
to be in the UK around the time of the festival, performing at the new Wembley Stadium the weekend beforehand (buy tickets

Glastonbury 2007 takes place at Worthy Farm, Pilton on 24-26 June. Tickets are expected to go on-sale on 2 April. For more
