The Big Chill throw Winter Festival

| 08 December 2006

With tornados hitting the capital and the weather due to go mental over the weekend, where better to get holed up than in the new Big Chill Bar just seconds from Kings Cross tube?

The ever sunny people at The Big Chill are holding a three-day Winter Festival there, featuring loads of regular DJs from the August laze fest including Tom Middleton, Hextatic, Coldcut's Jon More, Pete Lawrence and Leggo Beast.

However, the highlight should be a two-hour DJ set by Norman Jay on Sunday from 2-4pm. His Sunday 'wake-up' sets at The Big Chill festival have become an instituion and are always one of the festival's highlights - with an uncanny ability to bring out the sunshine.

Entry is free all day, until 11pm on the Friday and Saturday (£5 afterwards). Sunday is free all day. The full lineup is as follows...

Friday:
Hexstatic, Burt Latino & Mavis, Leggo Beast, Bam Bam, Brother Sun Sister Moon, Steve Merrylees.

Saturday:
Tom Middleton, Jon Hopkins (live), Ulrich Schnauss, Jon More (Coldcut), Mixmaster Morris, Tuung (DJ set), Digitonal (live) and Folk 2 Future.

Sunday:
Norman Jay, Future World Funk, Ben Mynott, Kirk Degiorgio, Marc Mac 4hero, Seiji Bugz in the Attic, Pete Lawrence, Dave McAlmont.

The Big Chill Festival 2007 takes place at Eastnor Park, Herefordshire. Click here for more details.
