First Acts For Big Session Festival

Oysterband, Show Of Hands, Rory McLeod, The Men They Couldn't Hang and Kris Drever are among the first acts confirmed for the Big Session Festival in Leicester next June. 'Early Bird' tickets are on sale now...

Big Session Festival 2007 takes place over the weekend of 15-17 June at De Montfort Hall and Gardens, Leicester (the same home as the award winning Summer Sundae).

Waterson:Carthy, Rachel Unthank, The Winterset and Whapweasel have also just been confirmed, with more to be announced over the coming months.

The small, family festival boasts three stages, free camping, real ales, food and craft stalls, as well as kids activities.

Tickets are on sale now, priced £50 for the weekend if bought before 31 January 2007, which saves you £10. Kids (12-15) cost £15, under 12s are FREE. Call 0116 2 333 111 to book.
