Christmas Charity Begins With Bestival

01 December 2006

Bestival's batch of 'early bird' tickets sold out in record time after this year's event, however fans are being given another chance to bag a discount for next year by snapping up a seasonal steal.

Tickets for the 2007 festival, held in Robin Hill Country Park, Isle Of Wight, from 7-9 September, are on sale for £105.

As well as securing your pitch at officially the UK's 'Best Medium-Large Festival', £5 will go directly to Shelter to help the charity with homeless projects, while you'll be treated to a hand-drawn Christmas card by co-organiser Josie Da Bank. Organisers have also waived the booking fee in another act of Christmas goodwill.

Bestival boss Rob Da Bank said: "Don't give your loved one a pair of socks, pot pourri and a tangerine this year. Make 'em smile with a good old-fashioned Bestival ticket and hand drawn limited edition Josie da Bank card! Also 'cos so many people in the UK don't have such a merry Christmas with no roof over their head we're giving £5 from every ticket bought to Shelter who are committed to housing our homeless. What ya waitin for?"

To buy your tickets you just need to download the order form, fill it out and either send it to Bestival in the post with a cheque or email it to xmas@bestival.net if you'd like to pay by debit/credit card.

All orders must be received by midday on 18 December and all tickets/cards will be sent out on the 18/19 December by Next Day Special Delivery (which you will need to sign for). You can even choose to have it sent direct to a friend or loved one should you wish.
