'Frontier Sessions' for free in London

| 26 October 2006

Bubbling with bourbon and big hats, the Bulleit Frontier Sessions take place at Vibe Bar, Brick Lane, London, from 19 November to 3 December.

Other artists confirmed include John George Cooper, The Occasional String Band, Ross Allen, Treecreeper and DJs from Rough Trade

A spokesperson said: "The sessions celebrate the new genre of alt-country and nu-folk music, and in true frontier style there will be a ‘caller’ announcing an array of cutting edge talent."

The courtyard will be turned into an urban frontier folk-down, complete with an authentic wagon as the stage for the musicians.

In addition, there will frontier cabaret, including lassoing and rope tricks, whip cracking and card tricksters.

There will also be plenty of Bulleit bourbon whisky, as well as frontier food in the form of barbecued meats and marinated ribs.
