Vote Now for Anthem Of The Summer

While thousands of great records have been lapped up by millions over the summer, a few stood at as true classics and have proved defining festival moments. But which one deserves to win a UK Festival Award? Only you can decide...

For the first time in the three year history of the UK Festival Awards, music fans have been able to influence the short listing of categories. All week, Virgin Radio listeners have been invited to vote to shortlist, from a list of 20 sensational summer tunes, the prestigious ‘Anthem of the Summer’ category.

The result will means that all categories are now available for music fans to vote for at www.festivalawards.com, and the following 10 nominees have been short listed:

Anthem of the Summer Shortlist:

1. Lily Allen - 'Smile'
2. Arctic Monkeys – 'I bet that you look good on the dancefloor'
3. The Automatic - 'Monster'
4. The Fratellis – 'Chelsea dagger'
5. Kasabian - 'Empire'
6. The Kooks – 'She moves in her own way'
7. Orson – 'No tomorrow'
8. Razorlight – 'In the morning'
9. Scissor Sisters – 'I don’t feel like dancin’
10. The Zutons - 'Valerie'
