Brakes and breaks for Electric Gardens

The brand new Electric Gardens festival in Kent has added more than a dozen acts to its lineup, including Brakes, Jamie T, Field Music, Duels, Soho Dolls, plus couple of bass-mashing breaks soundsystems...

Electric Gardens takes place at Mount Ephraim Gardens, nr Canterbury, Kent on 5-6 August.

Newly confirmed for the Saturday are Marcus Wallis, Veto Silver, Mezza Breaks, The Soho Dolls, Grant Dee and Roast Groove.

The day, geared mainly towards dance music, will also feature two legendary soundsystems, Chew the Fat! and Southern Fried.

Just added for the Sunday are The Veils, Kid Harpoon, Findlay Brown, Battle, Jamie T, Field Music, Eyoe, Brakes, Duels and Electric Soft Parade.

The Archie Bronson Outfit and The Elegant Bachelors have also been confirmed but it's not yet known which day.

They all join a line-up that already includes The Charlatans, The Automatic, M Craft, The Young Knives, Mystery Jets, The Long Blondes, The Fratellis, Armand Van Helden, Cassius, Layo & Bushwacka! and Audio Bullys. Click here for the full lineup.
