Depeche Mode close Wireless

Electro-rockers Depeche Mode closed the second ever Wireless Festival in London last night, treating hordes of loyal fans to tracks old and new after they'd watched England make the World Cup quarter finals...

The headline set from the Essex veterans proved to be a fitting double celebration to mark both the end of the five-day festival and also England's progress in the World Cup after beating Ecuador in the last 16.

The band played a greatest hits set interspersed with songs from their latest album 'Playing The Angel'.

Crowd favourites included 'Personal Jesus', 'Walking In My Shoes' and 'Enjoy The Silence'.
