The third Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival takes place on the Belladrum Estate, Inverness,
on August 11-12. The festival, one of Britain's most northerly events, will host more than 90 acts across five stages with
a 3,000 person capacity increase to 10,000.
Joining headliners Embrace and Arlo Guthrie will
be Biffy Clyro, Mystery Jets, Martha
Wainwright, Dreadzone, Morning Runner, The Vatersay Boys, Guillemots,
Desmond Dekker, Bell X1, Forward Russia!, King Creosote,
The Cinematics,The Upper Room, Seth Lakeman, The Young
Knives, Bellowhead, Rumble Strips, Batucada Sound Machine, Exist,
3 Daft Monkeys, and Vincent Vincent & the Villains.
The festival will also
host a Grassroots Stage and a new performance art tent called the Venus Flytrap Ballroom,
which will also include theatre and music performed by children. The event prides itself on being family friendly and kids
will be more than looked after with a packed programme of entertainment.
