The inaugral Soundstation Festival takes place at the newly created Eastside
Park, just minutes from Birmingham's New Street Station, on Sunday, 28 May.
Graham Coxon, Boy Kill Boy, Orson and The Crimea
are the first acts confirmed for the Live Stage.
Mr Scruff, Kenny Dope, Bugz
In The Attic, and Quantic will be throwing down some beats in the Bacardi B-Live Arena.
Event
organiser Nick Morgan said: "The format of Sound Station is a ground-breaking collection of styles with a clear focus
on new, exciting indie/rock talent and credible, leftfield dance Djs and acts. We are delighted to be holding this event in
Birmingham and feel we have an incredibly strong line-up of up-and-coming bands and leading-edge Djs on the bill."
The
festival is expected to attract 7,000 music fans and is expected to become an annual event.
Tickets are priced at £25
with a small number of early-bird £20 tickets being made available when they go on sale at 9am on Thursday, 30 March. They
will be available to buy at www.bigcatshop.co.uk.
